Boundaries are important and allow us to feel freedom in relationships! Without proper boundaries, relationships can flounder and be unhealthy.
Establishing boundaries is like a balancing act and finding the right balance is unique to each person. Unhealthy boundaries can leave us feeling taken advantage of, isolated, betrayed, and resentful.
But boundaries that are healthy and beautiful can create function and flow in our life. Some steps to help create healthy boundaries are:

- Manage conflicts effectively rather than avoiding
- Empower self to say “No” to others when needed
- Communicate effectively to others how to treat us.
